Before joining BNA Legal, Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh gained extensive experience working at leading law firms in Vietnam and internationally, as well as serving in leadership roles in legal departments at a multinational telecommunications corporation, a leading media and technology company in Vietnam, and a top global strategy consulting firm. His diverse background enables him to provide comprehensive legal advice in telecommunications, technology, financial technology (fintech), personal data protection, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Notable achievements include successfully handling complex international disputes, negotiating critical telecommunications agreements, and securing legal approvals that strengthened the industry-leading positions of the companies where he served as legal director. Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh was recognized in The Legal 500 GC Powerlist Vietnam in 2023 and 2024.

In the technology community and policy advisory forums for the government, he has played a key role in building the personal data protection specialist market, spearheading initiatives on personal data protection, and contributing to shaping Vietnam’s AI development strategy. He actively contributes to industry research and discussions, frequently speaking at forums on data protection, AI governance, and legal innovation. His innovative approach to the legal sector is exemplified by his establishment of VietLegalTech.Org, aimed at promoting the adoption of AI and technology to enhance legal operations.

He is fluent in Vietnamese, English, and French and delivers legal services that align with clients’ business objectives and legal requirements.
