A Syrian Order Of Merit; Grand Cross Set Archive held in place via lugsA Syrian Order of Merit; Grand Cross Set (Wisam al Satahaqaq al Suri), comprising: Sash Badge in silver gilt enamels, unmarked, 57 mm x 63 mm, with a full length of original sash; Star in silver gilt and enamels, double hallmarked on pin, 81 mm x 83 mm, with only one small chip in white enamelled star. As a pair, good detail, very fine. Footnote: The order is awarded for service to the state and to wider Arab causes and may be presently posthumously.
